Beginning Serger Class

Are you still wishing you knew how to use your serger for more than finishing off seam allowances? Learn many of the things it can do and how to tackle your projects. You will wonder how you survived without a serger in your sewing room. Linda Blyth: Saturday, March 15th (10 - 1) Cost $10 if machine was purchased at Marie’s Sewing Center $30 if not.

Butterfly Kisses

Butterfly Kisses is our newest BLOCK OF THE MONTH created by Nancy Davis Murty. We will again offer a free class each month dedicated to that month’s block and lots of hints and tips will be covered. The class is optional but we would love to have you join us. We have two color choices for the quilt (green & brown) and space is limited. Cost is $18 a month for 10 months or $160 all at once. Sign up today!! Free class dates for this quarter are: 2/7, 3/6, and 4/3 at 6:30pm or 2/8, 3/7, and 4/4 at 10:30am.

Elegant Placemats

Dress up your table with a new set of elegant placemats. Choose a striped fabric (or not) to make a surprisingly easy mitered border around your placemat. Acrylic template available. At least 2 should be completed in class. Pattern required. Linda Davis: Monday, 4/7 from 10 to 3. $35

Jenny's Essence Cheating Crazy Patchwork Quilt

If you missed this class in November, plan to take it now! You’ll have fun using a lot of your built in decorative stitches, a little machine embroidery and a new way to do crazy patchwork. Finished size is approximately 24 inches. Creative Expressions magazine issue 14 is required for class. Linda Blyth Thursdays, 4/10 & 4/17 (6-9) or Fridays 4/11 & 4/18 (10 -1) $40.

Simple in Blue (or your choice)

This is a simple four-patch combination of a light and dark color to make an interesting pattern in a long tablerunner. This is a great compliment to your table along with the elegant placemat class offered on Monday. This will work up quick and easy. The book Top It With A Runner is required. Mom & Me (or Grandma)

This is A SIMPLE QUILT that is a perfect lap size (58 x 48). For the quilt you will need five different fabrics. The adults will do the cutting and the kids will do the sewing. Everyone will have fun!! Limit of 6 students for this class. CD with quilt pattern on required. Judy Wasik: Saturday, April 26th (10 - 2) $30.
